From nitrox diluent to hypoxic trimix. CCR courses are taught on the S7, T-Reb or Poseidon Se7en. Every course can be booked on its own; the certifications you need are listed with each course.

CCR course prices include learning materials, the certification fee and Sofnolime; gases are not included. No unit of your own? You can rent a rebreather for CHF 200.– per dive. Courses in German or English.

40m

CCR Nitrox 40m Diver

Your entry into rebreather diving: assembly, checks, diving the loop with air or nitrox diluent and bailing out safely. Prerequisite: Advanced Nitrox and 30 dives, age 18+

Listed IDF certifications or equivalent certifications from other agencies

  • Minimum age 18
  • IDF Advanced Nitrox Diver plus at least 30 logged dives and 25 hours underwater, 5 of them deeper than 30 m
  • or: a no-decompression CCR certification to 30 m plus 20 open water dives and 20 hours on a rebreather
  • Drysuit: IDF Dry Suit Diver; sidemount: IDF Side Mount Diver

Certification The certification is issued for the make of the course unit. The 10-minute deco limit applies to the training dives under the standard.

Equipment Bailout: at least 1 cylinder with regulator and pressure gauge, planned at 50 l/min, minimum 1400 l. Two dive computers with CC and bailout mode.

Crossover Unit crossover: IDF CCR Nitrox 40m Diver plus 12 CCR dives, the last within 45 days of the course start.

45m

CCR Helitrox 45m Diver

Helitrox diluent reduces narcosis and gas density, a good entry for slightly deeper rebreather dives. Prerequisite: Advanced Nitrox or CCR Nitrox 40m, 30 dives

60m

CCR Trimix 60m Diver

Normoxic trimix on the rebreather, with two bailout cylinders and longer deco. Prerequisite: CCR Nitrox 40m or Helitrox 45m, 50 h on the rebreather

Training dives are planned with up to 60 minutes of deco, a gas density below 6.3 g/l and an END of no more than 30 m.

  • 50 open water dives and at least 50 hours on a rebreather, 25 dives and 25 hours of them on the course unit

100m

CCR Full Trimix 100m Diver

Hypoxic trimix on the rebreather, with three bailout cylinders and up to 180 minutes of deco. Prerequisite: CCR Trimix 60m, 100 h on the rebreather

CCR Unit Crossover

Already a CCR diver and want to learn another unit? The crossover gets you onto the S7, T-Reb or Poseidon Se7en. Prerequisite: CCR certification and 12 CCR dives
