CCR Cave Diver
Cave diving on your own rebreather: bailout planning, bailout stages on the line and emergency procedures specific to the CCR.

Prerequisite: CCR Nitrox 40m on your unit, 50 h on it
Bailout planning by at least the rule of thirds, setting the turn point on the CCR, staging bailout cylinders on the line, feeding off-board gas, SCR drill without PO₂ readings and sharing one rebreather within the team.
CCR Cave is not tied to a specific unit; you dive your own rebreather.
Prerequisites
Listed IDF certifications or equivalent certifications from other agencies
- Minimum age 18
- IDF CCR Nitrox 40m Diver on the rebreather used in the course
- at least 50 logged open water dives, including 50 hours on that rebreather
- Crossover for open circuit cave divers: IDF Cave Diver; without a cave certification you take the full course
- Sidemount: IDF Side Mount Diver

The number of dives is the minimum under the IDF standard. Depending on your progress, additional dives may be needed; their price is agreed individually.
Certification Planning and diving CCR dives in caves. Open circuit gas planning by the rule of sixths, CCR bailout by at least the rule of thirds.
Equipment Two masks, bailout by configuration (e.g. sidemount CCR: 1 sidemount plus 1 stage; backmount CCR: 2 stages) with off-board connection, two sources of bottom diluent, an independent backup computer for CCR and open circuit, two cutting tools, primary reel, spool, jump spool, three independent lights, four markers.
